Video: Sand storm sweeps UAE more rain expected

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Sand storm hit parts of the UAE on Tuesday morning, reducing visibility at several places.

National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported blowing of dust over Sweihen, Al Minhand and parts of Abu Dhabi. The storm also hit Dubai and its adjoining areas.

Light rain was also reported in some areas of the country.

The centre added that dusty weather is likely to reduce visibility to less than 2000 m at times over scattered areas of the country because of convective clouds formation, which may be associated with rainfall.
