Inspectors confirm Britain analysis of nerve agent type

(MENAFN) The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has supported Britain in its breakdown of the nature of the nerve agent which was used in poisoning the former double agent.

Even though the international chemical weapons watchdog did not identify the nerve agent as Novichok, it verified the UK's analysis over its type.

"There can be no doubt what was used," Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson insisted on the matter.

The foreign secretary continued "there remains no alternative explanation about who was responsible - only Russia has the means, motive and record."
