Iran, China to develop ties in nuclear energy


(MENAFN) Iran is ready to boost its cooperation with China on nuclear energy under the 2015 international nuclear agreement, Tehran's ambassador to Beijing declared.

The announcement was made by Ambassador Ali Asqar Khaji during the Seminar which was held on China-Iran Civil Nuclear Cooperation under the Join Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The Iranian diplomat declared the volume of bilateral trade relations between Iran and China to have settled at USD37 billion in 2017, recording a 20 percent increase.

He then pointed out how the countries provide support for the other, since they share mutual concerns over the same threats and have similar viewpoint on several regional and global issues.
