Oman- Bank Sohar acting CEO resigns


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Bank Sohar announced that Sasi Kumar has resigned from his position as the bank's acting chief executive officer.

In a filing to the Muscat Securities Market, Bank Sohar said Kumar tendered his resignation to the board of directors on Thursday for personal reasons.

'The board accepted the resignation on Monday and commenced the process for appointing a replacement before the end of Kumar's notice period, and shall update the market as and when the new chief executive officer is appointed', Bank Sohar said.

It added that Kumar shall serve his notice period, which ends by end of May 2018, and shall continue in his position till the new CEO is appointed.
