(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has ordered defense forces in southwestern Khost province to eradicate enemy€™s sanctuaries by formulating a proper battlefield strategy.
The president expressed these views at a gathering in Khost City, the provincial capital.
High ranking security officials were present in the huddle which was briefed on execution of security plans, a statement from the Presidential Palace said on Monday.
Security officials hailed the president€™s attention to security issues and assured the president of efforts to defeat the enemy and eradicate their sanctuaries.
The president ordered the defense forces to inquire after families of the fallen troops and prayed for the departed souls. The resident appreciated the sacrifices of security forces in suppressing terrorists.
