Israeli bulldozers knock down Bedouin school in West Bank


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, April 10 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation bulldozers early Tuesday tore down a school for Palestinian Bedouins south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron .

A Palestinian official at the Palestinian Ministry of Education, Mohammad Sami, said in a statement that Israeli troops demolished "Zanouta School", which was opened recently to serve the Bedouin community in the area, the statement added.

The school has approximately 43 students (boys and girls), 10 of which are preschool students, he said.

The targeted school, which is built of "zinc roofs" and bricks, includes only 6 classrooms, restrooms and other facilities.
