Kandahar opens 3 new buildings worth 11.4m afs
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Three newly-constructed buildings, costing 11.4 million afghanis were inaugurated in the Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province on Monday.
Deputy governor Abdul Hanan Munib told the inauguration ceremony, that the projects took one year to complete under the National Solidarity Program.
Munib said the new facilities -- buildings for the district education department and two schools -- would help resolve problems people earlier faced in the sector.
He said work on rehabilitating some school buildings in Zheri and Maiwand districts would be launched soon by the provincial government.
