Israel's Lieberman: "no innocent in Gaza"


(MENAFN) On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman denied reports about a number of "innocent people" having been killed in the Hamas-governed Gaza Strip, Sputnik reported.

"There are no innocent people in the Gaza Strip," Lieberman told Israel's public radio.

"Everyone's connected to Hamas, everyone gets a salary from Hamas, and all the activists trying to challenge us and breach the border are Hamas military wing activists," he added.

31 Palestinian civilians were killed with in 10 days, some of them by the use of live ammunition by the Israeli security forces and more than 1,000 others were reportedly injured, including from tear gas suffocation.
