(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, April 8 (Petra)--Egyptian army announced in a statement on Sunday that 4 terrorists were killed and 2 other were arrested in central and northern Sinai.
Egyptian forces managed to kill 3 highly dangerous militants and arrest another 2 in central Sinai within the Comprehensive Operation – Sinai 2018. Another militant was also shot dead with an amount of money, cellphones, and hashish in his possession, the statement added.
It said the air forces targeted and destroyed two terrorist outposts and destroyed 6 vehicles and 114 motorcycles in the operation. The navy continuously works to secure the maritime, protect strategic areas, and cut off terrorists' supply lines, the statement said, adding that army and police forces were deployed in a number of areas to ensure full security.
