Jordan to host 6th conference of Arab Union for Electricity
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, April 7 (Petra)--Jordan will host the 6th Conference of Arab Union for Electricity in December to discuss issues pertaining to the electricity sector in the Arab world, according to a meeting held by the union in Amman last Thursday.
A statement by the union said that the meeting discussed preparations for the conference that will be held with the participation of Arab ministers of electricity and energy, senior officials and directors of electricity institutions from Arab countries.
The meeting, which was chaired by President of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation and Chairman, Arab Union of Electricity Essa Bin Hilal Al Kuwari activities and accomplishments of union as well as its future plans and budget.
