Hundreds of extremist settlers storm Joseph Tomb in Nablus


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, April 5(Petra) -- Hundreds of Jewish extremist settlers early Thursday stormed the "Joseph Tomb" east of the West Bank city of Nablus to perform their Talmudic rituals, a Palestinian official said.

According to the Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghassan Daglas, said in a statement that the settlers, protected by Israeli soldiers, stormed the tomb at dawn and performed their Talmudic rites.

Following the break-in, clashes erupted near the tomb between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers, leaving a number of the Palestinian youths injured, Daglas added.
