Groysman: Talks with Turkey on FTA should come to final stage


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has stated that the process of negotiations on a free trade zone with Turkey should come to the final stage.

He stated this at a government meeting on Wednesday and gave a relevant order to First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Negotiations with Israel on a free trade zone have been completed, it's time to complete the process of talks with Turkey," Groysman said.

In turn, Kubiv said that this year the government intends to expand sales markets and diversify them. In particular, it is planned to hold meetings of intergovernmental commissions on economic cooperation with Turkey and Croatia.

"There is a proposal to hold the eleventh meetings of the intergovernmental Ukrainian -Turkish commission on trade and economic cooperation in Ankara," Kubiv said.
