(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Arabian Supply Center (ASC), one of Qatar's fastest-growing automotive and machinery distributors, has been awarded by Total Marketing Middle East (TMME) as their best distributor in the Middle East region for 2017.
ASC has been exponentially growing the lubricants business in the past few years. The award was presented at a grand annual distributor conference organised by TMME in Singapore.
TMME was represented by Jean Pepe, the vice-president, Marketing and Services (Asia Pacific and Middle East); Thibaud de Lisle, managing director in Total Marketing Middle East; Shakilur Rahman, vice-president, Sales (Gulf Co-operation Council and Yemen); and Ketan Kumar, general manager, Total Marketing Qatar; while the ASC team was represented by Praveen Hubli, operations director, and Nidal Elayan, head of Lubricant Sales.
'It is another milestone in our journey said Hisham Hadid, ASC's chief executive.
'The partnership between ASC and Elf has promoted Elf lubricants' position as a dominant brand in the Qatari market, said Kumar.

It is a dominant player in the Qatari market in the fields of construction, industrial, power generation and material handling equipment, in addition to being market leaders in automotive products like lubricants, tires, batteries and a wide range of quality spare parts for trucks and heavy machinery.
Total Marketing Qatar specialises in lubricants and special fluids and holds a prominent market share for lubricants in the Qatari Market. It caters to the needs of major automotive, construction, industrial and marine customers in Qatar.
Total lubricants' products in Qatar are widely used by many leading Japanese & European car dealers, in addition to many famous retail service centres in Doha.
