Cameroon:Twelve European hostages released
(MENAFN) Twelve European tourists ,whom held as hostages in south-western Cameroon,have been released in a military mission.
The hostages included seven Swiss nationals, five Italians who were captured by "armed terrorists",according to a government statement.
The incident took place in an unrest English-speaking district of the country, where demonstrators claimed that the country's Francophone majority ignored their demands.
The government declared that the hostages were on their way to a tourist site,however,the time of the incident isn't clear yet.
