Jordan- Swiss Embassy, Sahab Municipality sign environmental agreement

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 28 (Petra)--Sahab Municipality and the Swiss Embassy in Amman on Wednesday, signed an agreement to secure clean and safe environment in the industrial estate in Sahab.

The agreement was singed by Sahab Mayor Abbas Al Maharmeh and the Swiss Ambassador to Jordan Hans-Peter Lenz.

The ambassador said the projects aim to secure a safe environment for workers including citizens and refugees who have been affected by conflicts in their countries. He voiced the embassy's commitment to cooperate with the Sahab Municipality to improve work conditions in the industrial estate as well as factories in the area.

Switzerland, he added, rehabilitated 5 schools in Sahab.
