Gulf Air to launch new direct flights to Saudi cities

(MENAFN) Bahrain's Gulf Air was declared to be operating new direct flights to two Saudi Arabian destinations five times a week, starting June 15.

The national carrier is to launch the flights to Abha and Tabuk cities, increasing its operations in Saudi Arabian cities to seven.

"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been one of the most strategically important markets for us as the announcement of these two new destinations reiterates," Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer Kresimir Kucko stated.

The chief continued "with these new additions, it becomes one of Gulf Air's most heavily served countries within the Gulf Air network, by number of cities and frequencies. This is a testament to its significance."
