Iraq:two officials,boy die in house break attacks


(MENAFN) A local official declared that an armed attack on two villages in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala,left three people,with two senior local policemen among them,dead.

Yaqoub Mulla-Ali,mayor of Jalawlaa confirmed that an unknown armed men broke into the administrative chief of a village close to Jalawlaa town,nearly 150 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad,and escaped the house after they have killed the official along with his son.

Ali added that soon after,a group of gunmen have got into the home of another administrative chief in a different village of Jalawlaa and fatally shot him.

Probes are ongoing by military forces in Iraq to acknowledge the attackers.
