Kuwait finish 3rd


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait won the third-place trophy of the World All Styles Championship (WAC) Kempo, which was held in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, on March 22-25. Team Kuwait won a total of 62 medals — 18 gold, 21 silver and 23 bronze, Abdullah Taqi, Kuwait team manager, told KUNA in a phone call from Portugal. He added the Kuwaiti team members succeeded through hard word and dedication in winning these medals, dedicating this victory to the people of Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti team includes 25 Kempo fighters. The championship featured participation of around 5,000 people from 96 countries. Kempo Karate is a powerful martial art technique, which does not only depend on strength but achieves a balance among mind, soul and body. (KUNA)
