Kuwait to sign deal for LNG import
(MENAFN) Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has settled to sign a contract with an international company for the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The planned agreement was announced by Kuwait's Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bakheet Al-Rashidi, as he confirmed the 15-year deal to be launched in 2020.
The minister declared the agreement to be in line with Kuwait's objective to score an economic growth that meets energy demand.
He also explained energy demand to be requiring pure energy sources that will help diminishing emissions and enhance local air quality.
