Bahrain launches invitation for proposals on solar project
(MENAFN) Bahrain's Electricity and Water Authority has opened the way for project proposals to be sent for a landfill renovation as well as a solar photovoltaic (PV) plant establishment.
The invitation confirmed the solar IPP (independent power producer) project to be generating power of over 100 MW.
The authority has called for eligible developers to benefit from a landfill area and to generate competitive energy output from PV technology.
