Oman- Over 18,000 citizens given jobs since last December
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Ministry of Manpower (MoM) announced the appointment of 18,344 citizens in various private sector institutions in different governorates of the sultanate during the period from December 3, 2017 to March 19, 2018.
The number of males recruited was 12,277, while the number of females was 6,067.
Of the appointees, 8,901 had education below the general education diploma, 6,321 held the general education diploma, and 3,122 were with university degree.Most of the recruiters were for the construction (32.8 per cent), wholesale and retail (14.3 per cent), and manufacturing (13.3 per cent) sectors.
