(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo is the Gold Sponsor of the second annual Esrar Race, Qatar's only obstacle course race.
The event is being organised by Diverse Sports Events Management Company in partnership with Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF).
The 5km race features 20 purpose-built obstacles, including the Log Jam, the Low Wall, Barrel of Laughs, Tyre Mire, Leaning Wall, ZZ Hop, Sandbagger Hill 1, Splashdown and Mudder's Delight.
The course has been designed to put sports and thrill seekers of all levels to their physical and mental test, and participants will be tested on their speed, agility, balance, and determination.
The race's open category, that includes separate heats for men and women, will take place on Friday.
A new addition to this year's race is the team relay race.
Team qualifiers will also be held on Friday with the team relay race final being held on March 24.
As official sponsors, Ooredoo will ensure a seamless network connection across the course in Aspire Park.
