Bahrain: Qatar, Iranian guards cooperation risks security

(MENAFN) Bahrain has raised concerns over security risks as a result of Qatar and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) alleged partnership.

Bahraini Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has condemned the so-called "constant interference" Iran and other countries have been striking in Bahraini security matters.

The Bahraini minister also accused Iran of persistence in attempts to employ Bahrain citizens to convert their national beliefs as they make an effort to give them training for "terrorist acts" to be committed.

The minister stated "today, massive efforts are being made in Bahrain to deploy police that is capable of meeting security challenges in the wake of the changes in the nature of the crimes."
