Jordan- Interior minister, gendarmerie chief discuss security issues
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, March 19 (Petra)--Interior Minister Samir Mubaideen on Monday visited the General Directorate of the Gendarmerie where he discussed with its Director General Major General Hussein Al Hawatmeh a number of important security issues.
The interior minister stressed the important and effective role of the gendarmerie forces in enhancing security in the country and providing safe environment to support the development process and the economy, pointing to the importance of sustainable coordination between the security agencies and administrative rulers.
Majaor General Hawatmeh said the gendarmerie is pressing ahead with implementing its security strategy to serve the country and its citizens.
