Germany police detain three in Kurds protest


(MENAFN) Authorities declared that three people were detained amid clashes between the Kurdish protesters against Turkish army attacks in northern Syria with the German police in the northern city of Hannover.

Some of the nearly 11,000 protesters tossed plastic bottles at police,as well as threatening them with flagpoles they were holding,according to the dpa news agency.

The protesters also marched against the German weapon trade with Turkey,in addition to chanting slogans such as: "German tanks out of Kurdistan!",while describing Recep Tayyip Erdogan,the Turkish President a "terrorist."

Meanwhile,smaller protests in Cologne and Wuppertal didn't inform about any incidents.
