Israeli warplanes shell Palestinian lands east Gaza
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, March 18 (Petra)--Israeli warplanes early Sunday carried out a series of airstrikes on Palestinian agricultural lands east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza.
Palestinian sources said that the Israeli warplanes fired a number of missiles on agricultural lands eastern the neighborhood, inflicting heavy damage to property but no injuries were reported.
Spokesperson of the Israeli army said that Israeli air force planes targeted positions for Hamas in central Gaza in response to bombs detonated on the northern border of the Strip.
