Qatar- KSQ elects new president and committee

DOHA: Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ), an associated organisation of Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) under the aegis of Embassy of India, Qatar, went to polls recently to elect its new committee. Venkata Rao won the Presidential position of KSQ along with the 10 new management committee members for 2018 to 2019.

H K Madhu, the immediate past president also in the capacity of Advisory Panel Chairman, handed over the reign to the newly-elected President Venkata Rao to assume the office along with his team.

The election was held as per the new Constitution drafted and finalised by the Embassy of India for all the Indian associations affiliated to ICC.

KSQ became the first associated organisation of ICC to adopt the new Constitution and the elections were held as per the new guidelines of the Constitution.
