Israeli Knesset approves 2019 budget
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Occupied Jerusalem, March 15 (Petra) - Israel's Knesset late Wednesday approved the 2019 Arrangements Law with 62 members voting in favor and 54 members objecting, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was absent as he is suffering from a fever and a sore throat, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth .
The largest sums of the budget are earmarked for security with a total of 73 billion shekels, education 64 billion shekels, health 42 billion shekels and national insurance stands at 46 billion shekels, the newspaper said.
