Oman- Fourth New York Fries restaurant opens at My City Centre Sur

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- New York Fries is going to have six restaurants by the end of 2018; the fifth and sixth restaurant are scheduled to open at Mall of Muscat and Sohar City Centre.

'Oman is such an amazing culinary state with many different successful concepts and we are confident that there is definitely a place for New York fries to expand exponentially. Therefore, we are very excited to open our fourth New York Fries outlet at My City Centre Sur,' said general manager of Jawad Sultan Restaurants, Junaid Kader.

New York Fries, a unique concept has now opened its fourth location in Oman at My City Centre Sur in the food court on March 6. New York fries is a Canadian chain based in Toronto. The Afifi Brothers brought NYF to the Middle East and opened the first NYF store on the March 14, 2002 in Sahara Centre, UAE. There are more than 180 NYF stores around the globe and New York Fries is launched in Oman by the Jawad Sultan Group of companies with territorial rights to expand in the sultanate.

As the 'fry specialist', NYF offers a variety of toppings and sauces like Mexican Salsa, Spicy-Sweet and Sour Imli, Beef or Chicken Chili, Braised Beef, Butter Chicken, Shuwa Beef and Chicken and the Signature Poutine.

Kader added, 'NYF is unique because it serves fries which are hand cut from raw (fresh) potatoes daily in the stores; these fresh cut fries are then cooked in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil with no trans-fat and no cholesterol, exactly the way healthy and tasty fries are meant to be.'
