Pakistan- A dozen stray dogs killed in Takhtbhai
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MARDAN: At least a dozen of stray dogs were killed in Takhtbhai area of Mardan district following public complaints from different areas including localities fall in jurisdiction of Mardan Tehsil Municipal Committee on Wednesday.
The committee's official said that they would receive complaints on daily basis from residents of Takhtbhai and other areas regarding growing population of stray dogs.
They said that five teams were constituted and sent to different areas and killed several stray dogs.
Several incidents of dog bites were reported in the area after which mass culling was decided, the officials said.
