Turkey plans to produce ships without crew

Turkey plans to produce ships without crews, the Turkish media reported March 14.

Reportedly, OES Denizcilik company, which specializes in shipbuilding, will be engaged in the production of such ships.

It is expected that in 2018, the first prototype of a ship without a crew will be ready.

Earlier, it was reported that Turkey plans to create unmanned fighter jets.

From 2011, Turkey has set up the production of mobile outposts that proved effective in fight against the militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), and also the Canik TP9 handguns, unmanned ANKA aircraft and other military equipment to strengthen the domestic defense industry.
