LG launches new brand shop in Kuwait

(MENAFN) As part of its strategy to beef up its efforts to appeal to the high growth potential Middle East with its lucrative premium products, LG Electronics announced on Wednesday that it set up a premium brand shop at Rozana Mall in Kuwait on Sunday, at which products of the company's ultra-premium brand Signature are on display.

The opening ceremony of the brand shop included Yoo Yeon-chu, the Korean ambassador to Kuwait, Kevin Cha, president of LG Electronics Middle East and Africa, and Choi Yong-geun, President of LG Gulf.

Being one of the largest commercial districts in the Arab country, the brand shop is a two-story, 433-square-meter flagship store, featuring organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs, washing machines, and refrigerators from the Signature line, according to LG.

The store also allows visitors to pre-test those home appliances at the tryout zone before purchasing them.

Although LG is planning to expand in key shopping districts of the region, it already has been running 12 brand shops in different key Middle East countries such as Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
