Pakistan- Woman injured in North Waziristan roof collapse

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) MIRANSHAH: A woman was injured as roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Miranshah, North Waziristan on Tuesday night.

The local people said the roof of Azizullah's house collapsed during heavy rain due to which his wife sustained serious injuries. She was taken to hospital by the local people.

Rain is continuing in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA for the last two days. Three people have lost their lives and 15 others injured in rain-related incidents in KP and FATA so far. The Metrological Department has predicted more rain during the next 24 hours.

The Met Office said Malam Jabba received heaviest rain of 68 millimetres, while Peshawar received 12 millimetres rain.
