(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman has ordered the release of 80 prisoners to mark his safe return to Ajman .
Sheikh Humaid had returned to the UAE after traveling abroad for a successful minor operation on his foot.
The pardon has been granted to prisoners who showed good conduct.
The direction aims at raising happiness and hope for all prisoners and their families and displays that Sheikh Humaid cares for all segments of the society.
Expat prisoners charged with prison term and deportation will now be released and deported as well.
According to WAM, Sheikh Humaid said that on the occasion that he wishes all released persons to resume new life and support their families.
