Naeemi urges more NATO aid for Kunduz security

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KUNUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The governor of northern Kunduz province, Abdul Jabbar Naeemi, has demanded of NATO to continue supporting security and reconstruction sectors of his province.

Naeemi made the demand at a meeting with NATO Commander for northeastern zone Gen. Yorgan Shtal.

He thanked the international community for its assistance with the people and security forces of Afghanistan over the past one and a half decades.

He said German forces€™ activities would never be forgotten. He demanded the international community support Kunduz in different areas.

The NATO commander assured the governor of continued support towards the security forces and further strengthening reconstruction and rehabilitation process in Kunduz.
