(MENAFN) In its seventh edition, the Cultural Village Foundation celebrated successfully the last day of the Halal Qatar Festival which is aimed at raising public awareness on the old and best practices in livestock breeding, which forms part of the Qatari culture.
The festival focused on educating the youth about the different types of cattle in Qatar and the livestock auction.
Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti expressed his pride of this year's festival saying that it is witnessing development year after another.
"The focus this year, was on the planning of the festival and diversifying the activities reflected by the number of participating shops and local producers, especially activities for the children", Dr Khalid said, according to Qatar-based newspaper Peninsula.
