Qatar- Retaj and Mozoon sign deal

DOHA: Retaj Hotels & Hospitality, a subsidiary of Retaj Group and Mozoon Real Estate Company, owned by Al-sari Trading Co. and Qatar General Holding Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Company, have signed an agreement to manage and operate Mozoons' largest hotel project in Qatar 'Retaj Suites & Residences West Bay. The property is considered as one of the largest hotels in ' Mozoon Towers ' project, which consists of four towers consisting of hotels and hotel apartments in addition to the commercial space.

Withe the finest specifications in the city of Doha in the area of Dafna, the hotel consists of 39 floors in addition to a ground floor and two Mezzanine levels, and offers 460 suites and apartments, offering Studios and apartments with one or two rooms. It also includes two restaurants, a coffee shop, an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa center, fitness rooms, a separate Turkish bath for males and females and a children's playroom, Meeting and banqueting requirements are also available in a state-of-the-art banquet hall and meeting rooms equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment, It also has a unique space that makes it a favorite destination for those who wants to enjoy the high-end hospitality, privacy and tranquility from individuals and families.

The contract was signed at the Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel by Sheikh Nasser bin Ali bin Saud Al Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Group, owner of Mozoon Real Estate Company, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman of Retaj Group, attended by Dr. Mohamed bin Johar Al-Mohamad, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Retaj Group and Ghazi Abu Nahl, CEO of Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance Group, and many of the leaders and officials from both sides.

Commenting on the agreement, Sheikh Nasser bin Ali bin Saud Al Thani said that the reputation of Retaj Group in the hospitality sector and its success in providing traditional Arabian hospitality model and spreading its culture locally and internationally, is the main motive for choosing it to manage the new hotel. The tourism movement in Qatar is witnessing a steady growth despite the ongoing blockade. Going forward, the number of tourists visiting Qatar is expected to grow due to the various decisions taken by the government to revitalise the country's tourism sector.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Eid Al Thani said that the partnership between Retaj Group and the Qatari General Insurance & Reinsurance Group, the owner of Mozoon Real Estate, clearly reflects the constructive cooperation between the two national companies in the country, which is a key part of development and investment, especially in vital sectors such as hospitality.
