Bank of Beirut holds Health Awareness Day

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Bank of Beirut recently organised a health awareness day at its headquarters located in Ghubra, which included a free medical checkup for the bank's staff, clients and visitors of the branch.

The medical checkup was carried out in cooperation with doctors at Burjeel Hospital where blood pressure, blood sugar tests and nutrition advices were provided by specialised experts. The campaign was attended by all Bank of Beirut staff and many customers and visitors of the main branch during the day. The attendees expressed their appreciation for the Bank of Beirut initiative, which reflects its keenness and interest in the general health and its pioneering role in developing the society beyond the traditional banking services.

Ramy Zambarakji, chief executive officer of Bank of Beirut, Oman, said that the management recognises the importance of general health in providing a positive and effective work environment, since a healthy person will be more productive.

Zambarakji added that these initiatives activate the role of Bank of Beirut in the local community.
