(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 11 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday congratulated the wife of Kuwait's ambassador to the United States after she was honored by the UN-affiliated Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
In a letter he sent to Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's better half, His Highness the Amir applauded her for being the recipient of WILPF's "Peace Women Award", in recognition of her decade's worth of contributions towards humanitarian causes.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent similar messages to the Kuwaiti activist. (end) msa.nam
