Rwanda:over 16 dead,dozens injured in lightning strike
(MENAFN) An official declared the death of over 16 people as many others were wounded in lightening that hit a church in a seven day event for in Rwanda.
The victims died immediately after the lightning stroke the church in the southern region of Nyaruguru,according to Habitegeko Francois,the local mayor.
140 people were hospitalized and transferred to health centers,as two people died suffering from critical wounds.
The mayor added that the lightening killed a student in the district as well.
