ERC sign deal for solar water pump unit construction in Yemen
(MENAFN) A deal was confirmed to have been signed by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) for the construction of an integrated solar-operated water pump unit in Yemen.
The project, to be established in Al Safal, in the Shabwa Governorate of Yemen, is said to offer around 2,000 people an effortless access to uncontaminated water.
Citing chief of the ERC Team in Shabwa, Saif Al Muheiri, the project was explained to be in support of the aid authority's plans to provide assistance in reconstructing infrastructure.
The infrastructure reconstruction and development was also said to be part of the authority's attempts to bring back normalcy in Yemen's liberated regions.
