Abu Dhabi Police participates in UK's leading security event

ABU DHABI, 10th March, 2018 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Police has participated in the Security & Counter Terror Expo, the UK's leading security event, which held recently in capital London.

Brigadier Ahmed Saif Al Muhairi, Director of Capital Police Directorate, who led the UAE's delegation, said the participation aimed at getting knowledge about the world-class capabilities, strategies and intelligence that keep nations, infrastructure, business and people safe.

The conference, he stated, deliberated on the best practices to defeat the terrorist threats to nations.

Attendees heard 40 national updates on counter terror strategy, operations and policy, examining the key areas of prevention, pursuit and protection from international terror threats.

The event brought together 10,000+ senior professionals from governmentS, private sector, critical national infrastructure, military, law enforcement, transport security, border security, security services, major events and emergency services.
