Israeli forces injure 10 Palestinians on Gaza border

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, March 9 (KUNA) -- At least 10 Palestinian people were wounded by the Israeli Occupation forces on Friday near the Gaza Strip, said Palestinian health Ministry on Friday.

Wounded people were admitted to the Strip's hospitals for treatment, Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesman for the ministry, added in a press statement.

He noted that there have been confrontations on the northern and eastern borders of the Strip in support of Jerusalem.

He explained that five people were wounded in eastern Jabalia, one in eastern Gaza city and four others in Khan Younis.

Palestinian people have been protesting against US President Donald Trump's decision, issued on December 6, on recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital and relocating the American embassy to the holy city.

Some Palestinian people were killed or wounded due to these protests organized in several areas.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces killed a Palestinian handicapped man and wounded several others earlier in the day during clashes in the West Bank, the ministry announced.

Mohammad Al-Jaabari, 24, was shot in the chest by Israeli forces in the city of Al-Khalil, Hebron, and then died from his wounds, the ministry added in a statement. (pickup previous) wab.hm
