Sofia: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev held a bilateral meeting at the Presidential Palace on Thursday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations and prospects for their development at various levels, especially political, cultural, economic and investment.
The Emir and President of Bulgaria also reviewed a number of emerging issues on the regional and international arenas.
The Emir was earlier accorded an official reception ceremony in the morning at the Presidential Palace in Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Radev led well-wishers to welcome the Emir on his arrival at the Presidential Palace. The reception ceremony began with both Qatari and Bulgarian national anthems. The Emir then received the Guard of Honor.
