Pakistan- 'Peace and Spring' Mushaira organised in Mohmand Agency

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) GHALLANAI: The Adabi Karawan of Prang Ghar, Mohmand Agency, on Tuesday organised a Mushaira (poetic symposium) with the title of 'Peace and Spring'.

Over a hundred eminent poets from FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of the country participated in the Mushaira. Professor Dr Abaseen Yousafzai was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dost Muhammad Behar and Sufi poet Nazir Ahmed Turab were the guests of honour.

A local traditional music programme was also organised on the occasion which enthralled the participants.

The Mushaira was part of the sports and cultural festival in Mohmand Agency which will continue till 30 March. Different sports competitions, literary gatherings, music programmes and other traditional get-togethers have been organised on the occasion.

Organisers say the successful conduct of the festival depicts rich culture of FATA.
