Philippine discovers ISIS new leader
(MENAFN) Philippine's military was confirmed to have revealed the new leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in South-east Asia.
A suspect who took part in scheming for the Marawi attack, recognized as "Abu Dar" was revealed to have taken over the position of Isnilon Hapilon after his murder last year, as declared by the spokesman for the army's 1st Infantry Division Major Ronald Suscano.
His characteristics were said to be not as much radical and with not as much fighting experience as Hapilon, who had been Abu Sayyaf group's leader.
The spokesman explained "Isnilon is more radical because he is older and he has a lot of training and experience. Abu Dar, during the time of Isnilon Hapilon, was just a sub-leader."
