Kuwait- Youth Min. plans creativity festival
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 5 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of State for Youth Affairs is organizing a three-day festival, "Lens 3," at Al-Shaheed Park beginning next Thursday.
The festival, to be co-organized with the Ministry of Information, will be held for the third time, said Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, the ministry undersecretary, speaking at a news conference.
It is primarily aimed at encouraging the juniors to be creative in manufacturing as part of a major approach aimed at making Kuwait "a minaret for creativity, bright ideas and fine arts." Chafic Al-Sayed Omar, the assistant undersecretary for youth enterprise, said the event would feature workshops, seminars, movie shows, theatrical plays and musical concerts. (end) zik.rk
