Oman- 'The Shape of Water' wins Oscar for Best Picture
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) 2018-3-05"/> March 05, 2018 Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro's fantastical romance "The Shape of Water" won the Oscar for Best Picture.
Del Toro, who also wrote the screenplay, said he had never seen or read the play.
The movie about a mute cleaning woman who falls in love with a strange river creature had gone into the ceremony with a leading 13 nominations and won a total of four Academy Awards.
