Kandahar man commits suicide after shooting wife
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A man shot injured his wife before turning the gun on himself in Daman district of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Zia Durrani told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Guman village of the district.
Faiz Mohammad opened fire on his wife leaving her injured and then committed suicide by shooting himself with the same gun. The injured woman has been shifted to hospital.
Initial investigation showed the incident was triggered by family violence.
