(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead three individuals, including one woman and a child, in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Saturday.
Mohammad Arif Noori, the governor€™s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the shooting took place in the Sherabad locality of Qarabagh district late on Friday night.
Unknown gunmen attacked a family, killing a woman, a child and a man and wounding another woman. The attackers also took away two individuals, the official said.
There has been no claim so far of responsibility for the attack. Noori said an investigation was underway.
He added 10 months back, a water dispute had erupted between residents of Sherabad and Nakhati areas. The row was yet to be sorted out, the spokesman explained.
Hassan Khan, a resident of Sherabad, said Nakhati inhabitants barged into Ibrahim€™s house late at night.€œIbrahim, his son and wife were killed and a woman wounded.Two other people were taken hostage.€ he said.
